Dear Greater Atlanta Home Builders,

During the fall of 2002, my husband, Paul, and I had the opportunity to build a house with ND a Company, owned and operated by Michael and Marina Shlamov. This home was our fourth house and our third opportunity to build. Without a doubt, this was our best experience ever working with a builder. Michael and Marina exceeded our expectations at every turn of the building process.

We knew we had a special builder right from the beginning when visiting the construction site. As my husband noted, each week the site was cleaned thoroughly for debris and contractor waste. This may seem like an insignificant detail, but to us it showed a pride in workmanship and attention to detail. This assumption proved true as our home began to take shape. Prior to the electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems being installed, Michael gave us opportunities to think through tong term plans for our home and to make any upgrades to the systems that would have been much more expensive after the fact.

Michael and Marina involved Paul and I in every detail imaginable. Marina and I spent many hours visiting contractors and suppliers to choose everything from tile & granite to Lighting and carpet. I have friends who've purchased homes in this same price range ($650,000) whose builders did not provide as many options as part of the standard package. In many cases my friends were not allowed choices even as an upgrade. My point here is that from the beginning and throughout the process Michael and Marina made us feet tike they were building this home as much for themselves as for our family. At one point, Paul and I watched Michael remove a mantel from the family room fireplace because he felt it wasn't elaborate enough (even though-- Marian and I had already approved the mantle). He was right; the mantel Michael had built instead suited the room much better.

I really could go on endlessly with similar stories. Did I mention that we were in one week early? Unheard of I know, but Michael and Marina made an extraordinary effort to get us in before my birthday in December without cutting any corners in quality. We've been living here approximately three months now and we are still very happy with Michael and Marina's attentiveness to completing any punch list items that arose after we moved into our new home. We've had no surprises, except good ones, and we would without a doubt recommend ND a Company to anyone Looking for a high quality custom home builder.
